Job Description
Summary/objective
Event setups/ Custodians provides setup and breakdowns of events occurring on and off the campus. This requires the placement of tables chairs Pipe & drapes stages or any other event setup equipment that is required. Attends weekly scheduling meetings with the Building and Grounds Scheduler and keeps close contact with the college scheduler as well. The event setups person also replaces light bulbs across campus and maintains a bulb recycling room also. General cleaning and floor care service using a variety of specialized chemicals and equipment. They work in a variety of environments; working from a schedule identifying specific areas and tasks they are to complete each shift. Custodians may be asked to cover other areas in the event of a co-workers absence or work additional hours or on weekends if needed to meet service requirements.
