Prysmian is the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. Each year the company manufactures thousands of miles of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution as well as medium low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors. We also produce a comprehensive range of optical fibers copper cables and connectivity for voice video and data transmission for the telecommunication sector.
Job Description:
Pull fiber/TB for production orders
Put away fiber/TB
Select remakes including tubes fiber and TB as needed
Issuing Strip and Rejacket paperwork
Testing fiber/TB returns
Perform housekeeping duties as directed including but not limited too; organizing and maintaining areas used for production kanbans sweeping fiber room areas and vacuuming hallway
Perform cycle counts/inventories/audits as directed
Use forklift electric pallet jack and tugger to move fiber racks and pallets
