About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experiencedOperational Readiness Interface Lead to act as a key conduit between Queensland Rails Portfolio Operational Readiness team and the broader business.
This role is not change management - its about ensuring operational outcomes are embedded and sustainable. Youll play an important role in ensuring operational readiness across our capital and operational projects helping to successfully embed new systems processes and ways of working.
In this role you will:
- Lead the implementation of the Enterprise Operational Readiness framework tools and processes across multiple projects and business units.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities with respect to the Enterprise Operational Readiness framework and associated tools and templates.
- Educate coach and support stakeholders in operational readiness practices.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations that support operational success and decision-making.
- Build strong relationships across project teams operations and executive stakeholders to ensure business units are engaged and aligned with readiness activities.

What Were Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in operational readiness particularly in complex infrastructure or rail environments.
- High-level understanding of how operational readiness drives business outcomes and why its critical to successful project delivery.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading or mentoring others.
- Engineering background or experience in technical/rail contexts is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a focus on operational impacts and risk identification.
Remuneration & Employment Type
This is a full-time permanent position based in Brisbane CBD. The role offers a starting salary of $151359 plus 12.75% superannuation along with hybrid work options to support a healthy work-life balance.
