Job Description
Join our premier health organization as a Senior Physical Therapist in a dynamic float position serving both outpatient and inpatient needs across our three locations in Bath and Elmira NY. Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment programs for diverse patient populations
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
Utilize various therapeutic techniques including exercise gait training and modalities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Job Requirements
New York State Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Experience in hospital settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift 30 pounds independently and 150 pounds with assistance
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
