Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your legal expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Youll work alongside dedicated and solution-oriented teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in supporting the business the Contract Management team and the Senior Legal Counsel NCA in all legal matters ensuring Alstoms operations are conducted with the highest standards of integrity. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business such as bid teams during tender processes corporate functions and project teams while providing legal advice negotiating contracts and much more.
Youll specifically take care of reviewing drafting and negotiating legal documents but also supporting claim management and dispute resolution.
Well look to you for:
Reviewing drafting and negotiating legal documents with an acceptable level of risk
Supporting the business in legal and contractual matters including claim management and dispute settlement
Providing legal assessments during tender processes including reviewing contractual and legal aspects of tender documents
Handling corporate law matters
Promoting Alstoms Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
Providing sound risk analysis and solutions to complex legal challenges

A Law degree in business law (Master II); an LLM or LLB is desirable
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the execution of infrastructure projects within international industrial environments such as oil & gas civil engineering construction hydraulics or transport
Knowledge of international public tender rules and practices
Good command of French English and Arabic
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a complex and international organization
Open-mindedness and a solution-oriented mindset
Teamwork spirit and strong interpersonal skills
Proactivity responsiveness and resilience
A business-minded and agile approach to problem-solving
Autonomy and the ability to work independently
