Join our team in the Innovation Center in Villeurbanne developping solutionson Autonomous are searching for a talented Verification & Validation Manager for our Obstacle Detection program within a lean startup pathway and in collaboration with engineering software & mobility experts in an international context.
YOUR MISSION
As a Verification and Validation Manager you will take part in building the foundations of future Alstom autonomous train solutions. More specifically you will take part of programs such as environment perception including obstacle detection and remote driving of trains. In these projects you will lead organize and perform the verification integration and test activities of developments ranging from software to product and system programs fitting the needs in terms of Quality Cost and Delivery.
You will also support V&V activities into projects on the sub-systems Obstacle Detection and / or remote driving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the Program Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan to ensure proper coverage and demonstration that design requirements and intended use cases are met. Collect the contributions of all involved stakeholders;
- Manage the development or evolution of the V&V testbench features that will be required for the programs or projects you are involved in in terms of needs architecturedesign implementation etc...
- Ensure the application and adherence to the reference processes methods & tools requesting deviations whenever appropriate
- Define and agree V&V activity schedule in the programs or projects you are involved in
- Manage full verification and validation of the equipment under test;
- Keepinformed of the evolution of technologies through technological watch
- Promotethe Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
COMPETENCIES
- Engineering or masters degree with significantproven experience in system Validation & Verification.
- Good analytical skill and previous experience in test & integration.
- Knowledge of at least one domain out of hardware software product orsystem.
- Experience in robotics / autonomous vehicle / railway
- Able to communicate in an open and clear manner with various stakeholders
- Ability to use new technologies and tools
OTHER
- Need to have a driving license
- Fluent in both French and English. German would be a plus.
