Job Description

Alfred Health

Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

This role is that of a Fellow within a specialist unit.

The Lymphoma Fellowship provides the opportunity for acquisition of experience in the subspecialty management of lymphoma patients along with training in clinical trial management and clinical research. The Alfred is currently involved in a large range of clinical studies in lymphoma and there is a particular focus on lymphoma in immunocompromised hosts owing to the large solid organ transplant and HIV programs.


The fellowship is for 12 months with the potential opportunity for extension for a second 12 months. The successful applicant will work within the Clinical Research Unit in the department of haematology along with fellows in cellular therapies acute leukaemia and myeloma.

The Alfred Hospital is a large tertiary referral centre with an extensive malignant and non-malignant haematology service including allogeneic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies the clinical research unit statewide haemophilia service and research collaboration with Monash University through the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases.
