In this role youll:
Join our Integrated Public Transport Planning team as a Senior Service Planner.
Building on the work of the Bus Industry Taskforce Transports Medium-Term Bus Plan sets a vision for bus service improvements across NSW over the next decade. As part of a multi-disciplinary business case team youll support service planning activities to prioritise refine and make the case for service improvements within Sydney.
You will provide evidence based analytical support services technical knowledge and advice on issues relating to integrated transport as it relates to the Bus Service Improvement Program.
Partnering with key stakeholders and SMEs you will support the development of business cases via detailed analysis working through solutions to optimize operations within the confines of funding and to create the best outcomes for the people of NSW.
This role will see you contribute to shaping the future public transport service across Sydney.
We have multiple temporary full-time opportunities available up to March 2027. These positions offer flexible hybrid working from our Elizabeth Street Sydney office.

About you
You are an experienced Transport Service Planner or have exposure to a similar field and ideally you possess public transport planning experience.
Drawing from your strong analytical background you will analyse and interpret data and translate this into effective and efficient bus service concepts and improvement initiatives. Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines will see you contribute to delivering business outcomes.
You have well-developed problem-solving skills along with sound oral and written communication. You possess strong influencing and negotiation skills and have the ability to engage with various stakeholders with different objectives to obtain the best outcomes for your project.
