Job Description
Come and join the Asset Management and Business Analytics team. We are looking for creative individuals whowant to build Avistas analytical and Asset is an opportunity to take on new challenges andwork cross-functionally to drive change and solve business problems using the power of addition to collecting analyzing and reporting data you will be responsible for creating asset management plans for utility infrastructure assets based on risk and economic inputs and recommend maintenance and replacement strategies.

Duties are related to defining business needs understanding current-state environments and helping to champion change initiatives. Additional duties include facilitating discussions gathering and using data to research analyze design test and evolve solutions and assisting and leading as needed through change to future-state environments.

Analyst I: Starting Range: $27.67 - $35.56 per hour Full Range: $27.67 - $43.45 per hour Non-Exempt
  • AA degree or two years relevant course work in Information Systems Business Administration Science Math or related field. BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 2 years relevant experience.
  • Understanding of utility business and operations preferred.
  • General knowledge of a variety of end-user tools and applications such as CC&B Maximo Cognos Excel or GL Wand.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to logically analyze problems of limited complexity analyze data and reach logical conclusions.
  • Ability to create basic queries within a domain.
Analyst II: Starting Range: $74610.72 - $96621 Full Range: $74611 - $118631 Exempt
  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems Business Administration Science Math or related field.
  • 3 years relevant experience.
  • Understanding of utility business and operations preferred. Related project management and business analysis experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of a variety of end-user tools and applications such as CC&B Maximo Cognos MS Office GL Wand SQL Tableau or advanced Excel.
  • KSAs of BA I AND ability to create moderately complex queries within a domain. Ability to perceive and define cause-and-effect relationships in business processes and systems.
  • Skill in understanding the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated skill in the use of analytical tools and data analysis methods.
Analyst III: Starting Range: $84939 - $110421 Full Range: $84939 - $135903 Exempt
  • BA/BS in Information Systems Business Administration Science Math or related field.
  • 6 years relevant experience.
  • Related project management business analysis experience and knowledge of utility business and operations required.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of end-user tools and applications such as CC&B Maximo Cognos MS Office GL Wand SQL Tableau advanced Excel ARC GIS SCADA Visual Studio Visio Adobe Pro Project TFS or Pi.
  • KSAs of BA II AND ability to develop level-appropriate procedures. Ability to create complex queries within a domain.
  • Skill in researching writing and presenting complex analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability at conducting and analyzing complex analysis and research and communicating results to a broad variety of audiences.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane headquarters at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with an additional day determined by the employee and manager.
