We currently are seeking a Communications Advisor to join our Business Communications team in providing primarily internal communications support for our Asset Management Group (AMG) and PNC Investments (PNCI) lines of business.
PNC Asset Management Group is a relationship-based provider of investment planning banking and fiduciary services to wealthy individuals and institutions through the proactive delivery of value-add ideas and solutions. The Asset Management Group offers personal asset management for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families and institutional asset management services to corporations healthcare systems insurance companies unions municipalities and nonprofits.
The AMG Communications Advisor is a member of the Corporate Communications team of approximately 300 professionals advising the AMG line of business and PNC Investments on strategic communications opportunities in support of business objectives. This individual plays a hands-on role in the design and execution of a results-oriented internal communications program that informs educates and engages a nearly 3500-employee line of business audience. In addition this individual will collaborate on external communications where appropriate.
What Youll Do:
Work closely with the AMG Communications Team the broader Business Communications team and AMG business partners to support internal communication needs within the line of business. Among other responsibilities this will include writing and publishing content for the PNC intranet writing and distributing emails to a broad AMG audience maintaining the AMG intranet site and compiling and distributing a weekly newsletter to all of AMG and key AMG business partners.
The Communications Advisor will share ideas on how to create efficiencies share best practices across the team and thoughts for strengthening cross-functional collaboration.
Take a results-oriented approach by leveraging data to measure the effectiveness of communications approaches and deliverables which should also be used to inform recommendations for future communications strategies.
Assist with the planning and logistics for AMG employee events such as All Hands Meetings and other similar forums.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business or communications-related field
5-7 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations
Strong communicator who is eager to learn and grow in a challenging but rewarding position
Strong writer and editor; excellent story telling capability and ability to develop content that resonates with internal audiences
A strong grasp of communications measurement and how it can help inform future content recommendations
Have excellent project management skills
Are incredibly organized and detail-oriented
Thrive in a fast-paced environment in which change is a constant
Can effectively juggle many projects with varying deadlines and levels of complexity
Are self-motivated and learn quickly
Are proficient if not advanced in Excel and PowerPoint

- Implements strategic priorities and initiatives. Consults on a variety of internal and external communications.
- Consults in the implementation of communication strategies; plans researches and develops of content for increasingly complex communications initiatives.
- Identifies issues and opportunities consults with organization on all aspects of communication and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment clarity and accuracy of message.
- Coordinates final review and approval before internal or external communications are released.
- May lead project teams influences outcomes and evaluates success as appropriate.
- Leads preparation and synthesis of communications data; presents to management for decisioning.
