Shift(s) Available: 1st 3rd or Weekend
Compensation: $25.81
Sign-OnBonus: $1500
Key Accountabilities
A Typical Work Day May Include:
- Completing preventative predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout thefacility
- Documenting all completed work and the conditions found; utilizing maintenancecomputer software as necessary
- Installing maintaining testing evaluating and repairing various components andsystems including heavy mobile equipment hydraulic systems 12 & 24V mobileelectrical systems belt conveyors gear reducers and bearings
- Safely and effectively operating equipment
- Preform lubrication servicing and minor maintenance for equipment related to theclassification
- Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools basic hand tools pneumatictools electric tools etc.
- Comprehending mechanical/electrical schematics blueprints and/or operation manuals
- Operating forklifts
- Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to repair equipment in close proximity to explosives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to climbing crawling and twisting with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat colddust loud noise etc. with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advancenotice
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Ability and willingness to work underground in a mining environment
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining various components and systems includingheavy mobile equipment and/or hydraulic systems and/or 12 to 24V mobile electricalsystems and/or belt conveyors gear reducers and bearings
- Current ATF certification or the ability to obtain one upon hire
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) or willing to acquire certification
- Predictive Maintenance and/or Precision Maintenance CertificationsHeavy equipment/industrial maintenance technical diploma from a trade school or 3years equivalent experience
- Basic skills in cutting welding and fabrication
- Previous mining experience
