Job Opening: Data Science/AI Specialist BFSI/Life Insurance (Mumbai)
We are looking for a Data Science/AI Specialist with a strong background in the BFSI/Life Insurance industry to join our team in Mumbai. If you have a passion for machine learning advanced analytics and cloud technologies wed love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years
- Industry: BFSI or Life Insurance (Mandatory)
- Job Location: Mumbai
- Notice Period: Maximum 45 days
- Budget: Up to 18 lacs (hike can be offered 20-25% based on current CTC)
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Industry Knowledge: At least 1-2 years of experience in BFSI/Life Insurance

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL Python and Databricks

Machine Learning Expertise: Strong knowledge of ML algorithms like XGBoost Neural Networks and Random Forests along with a deep understanding of gradient descent techniques

GenAI & LLMs (Optional): Experience in analyzing unstructured data and building

Unsupervised Learning: Proficiency in clustering segmentation and cohort creation

Cloud & MLOps: Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and deploying ML models with MLOps practices

Anomaly Detection: Ability to detect rare events including fraud detection using machine learning
