Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient movement of heavy materials within our facility.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crane operations safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- As an Overhead Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift move and position loads such as machinery equipment and large structural components.
- You must be able to interpret load charts understand rigging techniques and communicate effectively with ground personnel to ensure precise and safe load handling.
- This role requires attention to detail excellent hand-eye coordination and a commitment to workplace safety.
- You will be expected to perform daily equipment inspections report any malfunctions or safety concerns and maintain accurate records of crane operations.
- The position may involve working in various weather conditions and at heights depending on the job site.
- Flexibility to work different shifts including nights and weekends may be required based on project needs.
- The successful candidate will have prior experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or construction setting a valid crane operator certification and a strong work ethic.
- You should be physically fit able to lift heavy objects and comfortable working in environments with loud noise and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes to lift and move heavy materials
- Inspect cranes and equipment before each use

- Use rigging equipment to secure loads
- Perform routine maintenance on crane equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Ensure proper storage of materials after transport
Requirements
- Higher secondary certification is mandatory
- Communication Skills in English is mandatory
Valid overhead crane operator certification - Minimum 5 years of crane operation experience
- Knowledge of rigging and load handling techniques
- Strong understanding of safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
- Familiarity with industrial or construction environments
