Job Duties

Virginia Correctional Enterprises (VCE) is a manufacturing and service agency that is focused on providing meaningful jobs and work skills for offenders and offering quality goods and services to our customers. For more information on our products services and locations visit The Purpose of Position is to coordinate and manage customer accounts from receipt of the order to installation in accordance with established protocols procedures and capacity planning. Process Syteline transactions with accuracy in conjunction with inventory control. Assist and support the Installation Manager install team manufacturing warehouse and transportation operations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to work independently to motivate others attain production goals. Ability to effectively communicate with others to achieve production goals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to make technical recommendations develop job specifications and quality standards. Ability to work independently in complex work situations and under the pressure of tight deadlines and manage safe work practices. Ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team in the production and quality of manufactured goods under the pressure of tight deadlines. High School Diploma or GED. Supervisory experience in print production or other high volume manufacturing setting. Demonstrated leadership experience in communication and problem resolution. Experience in quality programs and production floor quality improvement initiatives.

Additional Considerations

Considerable experience and proficiency in print production equipment operation and quality controls. Proficiency with MRP/ERP system or other manufacturing specialty applications. Certification in Total Quality Management Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other quality program certification.
