Oversee and provide direction to the Centralus organizations accounts payable team. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments optimize processes develop vendor relationships and ensure compliance with organizational policies and financial regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management:

• Oversee and manage the accounts payable team including hiring training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure the team is efficient and accurate in processing invoices expense reports and other financial transactions.

Invoice and Payment Processing:

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Process payments accurately and on time ensuring compliance with company policies and payment terms.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors.
• Manage escheatment and abandoned property workflow.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AP processes.
• Manage cross-training documents for AP processes.

Vendor Relations:

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate payment terms.
• Address vendor inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable.
• Responsible for the production and management of 1099/1096 reporting.

Cash Flow Management:

• Optimize cash flow by taking advantage of early payment discounts and managing payment schedules.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Accounting or related field or Equivalent experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• CPA CMA or APM certification(s) are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying lifting pushing pulling objects
• Sitting most of the time with walking and standing only occasionally

Location and Travel Requirements:

• Hybrid (physical office at Arnot or CMC)

Pay Range Disclosure:

• $29.04 per hour or $60403 annually
