You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the kitchen maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness manage kitchen staff control inventory and food costs and contribute to creating a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise all kitchen staff including cooks prep staff and dishwashers.
Oversee food preparation and production to ensure consistency quality and presentation.
Enforce health and safety standards in compliance with local state and federal regulations.
Develop and maintain schedules for kitchen staff to ensure coverage and efficiency.
Order and manage inventory of food supplies and equipment; maintain appropriate stock levels.
Monitor and control food costs labor costs and waste.
Train and onboard new kitchen employees; provide ongoing coaching and support.
Collaborate with the executive chef or general manager on menu planning and specials.
Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and promptly report any maintenance issues.
Manage food storage labeling and rotation in compliance with food safety standards
