Job Summary

Thisinternship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in HR operations within a faith-based organization supporting the recruitmentandother key HR initiatives for employees who serve the Catholic community across the St. Louis area.

Compensation:$15.00/hour
Schedule:5 days per week 30 hours/week onsite
Duration: Summer 2025 (approximately 1012 weeks)
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitingandonboarding efforts including job postings applicant screening interview schedulingandorientation prep
- Assist in compiling HR dataandgenerating routine reports (e.g. headcount turnover recruiting activity)
- Support employee record management
- Participate in compliance-related tasks (e.g. background checks I-9 audits document reviews)
- Monitoring HR inboxesandresponding to frequently asked questions
- Supporting candidates by answering questions about job postings application proceduresandthe hiring timeline
- Providing guidance on system navigation during application or onboarding
- Documenting common inquiries to help identify process improvement opportunities; development of FAQ resources orinternal HR communications
- Conduct researchandprovide administrative support on HR special projects
- Attend HR team meetings and assist in reporting or presentation preparation
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology Communications or related field
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
- Excellent organizational skillsandattention to detail
- Strong communicationandinterpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Eagerness to learnandcontribute to a collaborative team environment
