Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent a laboratory in Mckinny TX area that is looking for a Part-Time LCMS Supervisor to join their growing team!
Position Overview:
- Performs routine testing quality control calibration maintenance and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures
- Follow CLIA HIPAA OSHA and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
- Responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of high-complexity test performance
- Must be onsite to provide direct supervision when high-complexity testing is performed by any individuals
- Responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
- Assuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications
- Ensuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the tests properly functioning
- Providing training to all testing personnel
- Annually evaluating and documenting the performance of all testing personnel
- Perform other duties as directed
Candidate Profile:
- B.S. in Biology Clinical Lab Science or related field
- Qualify a Technical Supervisor under CLIA guidelines and have at least 4 year of laboratory training or experience in high-complexity testing
- Experience with Agilent 6460 and ImmTox 270 EIA preferred
- Previous experience with toxicology sample prep
Salary / Shift:
Shift: Part-Time with flexible shifts. Choose what works best for you!
Salary: $24-33/hourly
