NOW HIRING: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Assignment
Location: York North
Assignment Dates: 06/16/25 - 09/15/25
Shift: 1st Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 30-Minute Meal Break
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Work Days: Sunday - Saturday (Flexibility Required)
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Hourly Pay:$38.50 Weekly Pay (Local):$1347.50 (before taxes)
Permanent Position: Travel Contract
Class: PTA
Requirements:
PTA License (Active & in good standing)
Associate Degree from an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
Current CPR/BLS Certification (Preferred)
Ability to adapt & thrive in diverse environments
Typical PTA Duties:
Assist Physical Therapist in developing & implementing treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises & manual therapy
Support patients in improving mobility strength and range of motion
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Educate patients & families on care plans and home exercises
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure top-notch patient care
Maintain a clean safe and compliant environment
