Join the LVCS Team where you will experience: Flexible work scheduleSmall caseload 9-12 students Four-day school and work weekSupportive and collaborative school salary Position Type: .65 FTE (approximately 25 hours per week)Job Summary: The roles of a special education teacher are to assess students needs and create individualized education plans (IEPs) collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure students needs are met and act as advocates for students with disabilities to ensure inclusive learning environments. Essential Duties:Develop and implement annual Individualized Educational Program (IEP) plans for students to include present levels of educational performance special education needs instructional goals and objectives and the special education and related services required to meet those consultation to classroom teachers regarding classroom adaptions instructional modifications adaptive equipment and other similar instructional interventions to meet the needs of students with individual and small group instruction Develop appropriate systems to regularly monitor educational progress and maintain complete records and reportsProvide an educational environment where instruction is individualized for each student and includes supports and modifications that facilitate learningAttend data and SIT team meetingsTo apply submit a cover letter resume and three professional references to:Christine
