Job Description
RFA Engineering () is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customers world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Description
RFA Engineering seeks an Embedded Systems Engineer III to create and support software for machine prototyping. Support mechanical design documents. Develop and release status tracking using the Agile development process. Design engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks. Provide software integration in a group environment using the Continuous Integration process. Handle feature by feature software testing per SRD (Software Requirement Document) of construction and forestry vehicles. Enhance features for in-house tools. Work in GIT for software version control keep track of software defects features and PDP planning. Review SRDs handle project management tool (ADO) and debug test stands (Hardware-In-Loop). Provide software integration testing on prototype construction machines. Test display user interface software for machines. Analyze CAN and MQTT network data on machine.
Requirements
- Requires a Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Must possess 2 years of experience with each of the following: (a) developing test cases based on functional requirements; (b) creating test cases test plans and test data; (c) tracking and managing projects using JIRA tool; (d) using SQL (Structures Query Language) and validating records; (e) automating software tests using Selenium tool to improve the test process; (f) identifying documenting and tracking the defects (bugs); (g) utilizing each of the following: Agile Software Development; Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC); Windows Operating System; Python; C; C; Azure Devops; Jenkins; and GitHub.
- It is a requirement of this position that you have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
