We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Integration & Workload for a high-level management role responsible for overseeing the integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications; middleware technologies that support integration with other enterprise applications; and managing the workload distribution across these systems. This role is critical in ensuring seamless data flow optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining system performance.
What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Develop and implement a robust integration strategy for SAP systems with other enterprise applications that support Commercial Manufacturing and Research ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
Manage and optimize the workload across SAP systems to ensure efficient resource utilization and maximum output. This involves load balancing scheduling and performance tuning.
Management of Integration and WLA teams that support other key areas of Pfizers business.
SME expertise for the following platforms: AXWAY Automic/UC4 and Autosys
Provide technical guidance and direction to the integration and workload management teams. This includes overseeing the design development testing and deployment of integration solutions.
Lead complex integration and workload management projects providing direction to project managers and ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
Collaborate with SAP technology vendors Broadcom system integrators and other partners to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Identify potential integration and workload-related risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor system performance and address any issues promptly.
Keep up to date with the latest SAP integration technologies trends and best practices and promote their adoption where appropriate to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelors degree with at least 8 years of experience
Proven track record of using knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry related industries customer requirements and the general business environment to define strategic actions for a global business unit
Demonstrated capabilities managing large complex global programs consisting of capital and operating expenses and virtual teams
Strong people management experience
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships influence outcomes and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
Experience in managing application support and maintenance change management configuration management problem management incident management and lifecycle management
Regularly report on integration and workload management status issues and future plans to senior management other departments and end-users.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Masters degree with proven progressive experience as an Information Technology professional
Experience in financial stewardship for budgets and resources allocated to application support and management
Proven expertise in SAP technologies including SAP PI/PO SAP CPI SAP HANA and ABAP.
Experience with other middleware platforms including AXWAY Automic/UC4 and Autosys. Experience working with Broadcom
In-depth understanding of integration methodologies tools and technologies as well as workload management principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions to complex or unique problems
Experience in fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in daily operations
Ability to manage talent and leadership development participate in succession planning and prepare for long-term development needs
Strong leadership skills to hold senior managers accountable for skill development and diversity
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Possible night and weekend work during project/program deployments.
Ability to travel up to 10% of time as required
