Temporary Coordinator, Communications (24570)

This is a temporary position and is from June 2025 - August 2025.

In this role reporting to the Senior Manager Seed Communications you will be responsible for providing project management assistance for agriculatural promotional events programs print and digital communications including signage. Must be available to travel to Calgary in July 2025.

What you will do:

• Support of stakeholders across the organization with implementing content strategy and managing day-to-day requests for marketing communications.
• Assist with project management and utilization of print and digital initiative.
• Maintain content governance and processes including brand guidelines across all print and digital properties.
• Document procedures best practices tools and information related to communication processes.
• Marketing communications report creation and interpretation.
• Complete additional tasks to meet business objectives.
  
  

What you will bring:

• A High School diploma or equivalent designation is required.
• Completion of a 2 year degree in Communications or Agriculture is an asset.
• Design or digital certification an asset.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office is a requirement. Experience with web analytic tools and web content entry via web CMS tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to write content for communications.
• Excels in project management organization and problem solving including the ability to prioritize task and projects.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with a good understanding of print and radio media and online space who thrives in a fast-paced team oriented environment.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting with a willingness to learn and share information with peers management and users is a must.
