The Actuarial Associate Program offers an exciting opportunity for graduates and career changers looking to explore various actuarial roles within Sun Life. You will be joining our Actuarial Community that provides support and opportunities to actuarial associates pursuing their FSA/FCIA designation. Rotation Program
You will have the opportunity to work in different roles within various departments during your career at Sun Life. These provide an opportunity for you to gain a holistic view of Sun Lifes business while working on exciting initiatives (e.g. data analytics predictive modeling). Functional roles include:
Product Design and Management
Financial Reporting and Valuation
Asset Liability Management
Capital Management
Risk Management
Exam Support

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT
We are looking for the following qualifications:
We consider candidates from all backgrounds but preference is given to those with a university degree in Actuarial Science Finance Statistics Mathematics or related degrees
Strong technical analytical and problem-solving skills
Progressing towards FSA/FCIAdesignation
Effective communication skills and results driven
Demonstrated ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
Ability to maintain good relationships with other teams
Experience with AXIS and/or VBA an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
