JOB GOAL TEACHING:Teachers will create implement and execute targeted lessons involving engaging collaborative and hands-on learning experiences by implementing a workshop model. Students will apply their knowledge and skills to real-world situations and focus on mastery (conceptual understanding and fluency) of a limited number of grade level standards (depth not breadth) determined by multiple student assessment data sources to reach course credit recovery. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: (as aligned to the Massachusetts Teacher Evaluation System) Planning and Assessment A. Knows the subject matter well has a good grasp of child development and how students learn and designs effective and rigorous standards-based units of instruction consisting of well-structured lessons with measurable outcomes. B.
