TheOpportunity
The Production Planer formulates and maintains production schedules for all production work centers to ensure the production schedule execution. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently meeting customer demands while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards. The Production Planner works closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Engineering Customer Service and Sales to develop schedules that maximize productivity and minimize delays.
EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities
- EstablishesmanagesreviewsandmaintainsproductionschedulesforallofproductionworkcenterstoensurethatthemasterproductionscheduleisbeingexecutedbasedondeliveryexpectationscapacityandmaterialavailabilityutilizingERPsystem.
- Dailyanalysisplanningandreviewofworkcenterandlaborcapacitybasedonrequirements.
- Reviseproductionscheduleswhenrequiredduetodesignchangeslaborormaterialshortagesbacklogsorotherinterruptionscollaboratingwithproductionmanagementandsupplychain.

- CoordinatewithProductionManagersandproductionleadsforeffectivesequencingofshopordersandprocessestoindividualworkcentersorlines.

- Implementmaterialsubstitutionsasneededcoordinatingthesewithsupplychainandinventorytoensureaccuracy.

Requirements
- BachelorsDegreeinOperationsManagementSupplyChainBusinessorsimilarrelatedfield
- 2-3yearsexperienceinmanufacturingproductionscheduling
- AbilitytolearnandmaintaindatainERPsystem
- Goodplanningorganizationalandcriticalthinkingskills
- ProficientinMicrosoftOffice
- Strong math and analytical skills as well as written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility
