Facility Manager

This position will support our joint venture with partner company Dayton Group Inc. (DGI). DGI-ATI (JV) has a current need for a full-time Facility Manager on an operation and maintenance services contract at a Federal facility in Annapolis MD.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Facility Manager will be responsible for all contract execution requirements including safety quality resource planning client engagement budget/cost planning record keeping reporting and management of approximately a dozen staff necessary to effectively meet the performance objectives.
Duties may include but not be limited to the following:
- Serving as primary point of contact for the client;
- Managing work and coordinating all activities including safety cost schedule and quality of the work;
- Fulfilling monthly reporting requirements including progress reporting;
- Keeping the client informed of the project status existing or potential problems and any changes that may be required to successfully complete the work;
- Overseeing the following general service areas and corresponding staff: (1) Physical Security Services; (2) Grounds Maintenance Snow Removal and Pest Control; (3) Janitorial Services; (4) Mail Room Services; (4) Furniture and Equipment Relocation; and (5) Routine and Non-Routine Facilities Maintenance Services including elevator fire and life safety chiller/boiler HVAC electrical and lighting emergency generator infrastructure and intrusion detection systems; and
- Assisting in generating cost proposals for client approval for additional work outside the scope of work.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Facility Management Construction Management Business Engineering Operations Management or other related field OR minimum ten (10) years of experience as a Project/Facility Manager on a project of similar size (minimum 40000 sf) and complexity may be substituted for a degree;
- If only holding a degree must have a minimum three (3) years as a Project/ Facility Manager on work that is similar in size (minimum 40000 sf) and complexity;
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of US Government facilities to include reporting of facility and service metrics;
- Active SECRET clearance or the ability to secure such a clearance in a timely manner;
- Proficiency using MS Office (including MS Word and Excel) and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- High level of professionalism for client interaction; and
- Certification in project management facility management or a skilled trade (HVAC electrical plumbing) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90000 - $110000 /year depending on experience
Location: Annapolis MD
Working Hours: Normal Work Hours Monday Friday (anticipate 40 per week). Subject to change based on training demands.
