Job Summary
Innovation is a 140 person Mass General Brigham business development unit responsible for the worldwide commercial application of the breakthroughs and unique capabilities of the Systems 80000 employees and faculty. It has exclusive responsibility for industry collaborations investing company creating licensing and innovation management. It supports the research requirements of its Harvard Medical School appointed faculty and its core hospitals Harvard affiliates Brigham and Womens Hospital Massachusetts General Hospital McLean Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Our Summer internship program is a 3-month opportunity working 40 hours per week during the Summer.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provides direct support to Innovation Operations Contract Compliance team efforts to drive operational initiatives that enhance the Innovation offices business performance and grow revenue through dedicated stewardship of the Innovation deal portfolio.
Support the development and improvement of data analysis framework to forecast hospital commercialization revenue leveraging data on expected revenue in current deal portfolio anticipated financial terms for deals in the pipeline and historical revenue trends.

- Candidates currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a business engineering or technology-related field (candidates that currently hold or are currently pursuing an advanced degree are strongly preferred).
- Well organized and able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks. Exceptional computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to convey concepts visually (e.g. a marketing presentation to outside companies).
- Strong writing and analytical skills and the ability to receive edits.
