Job Description

Position Overview:
We are looking for a nurturing and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our Young Toddler classroom (typically ages 1224 months). In this role youll work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide consistent care engage toddlers in play-based learning and support their social emotional and physical development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Teacher with daily routines including diapering feeding napping and playtime
Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that support growth and development
Maintain a clean safe and engaging classroom environment
Supervise and interact with toddlers in a warm responsive and respectful manner
Communicate effectively with families and team members
Observe and document childrens development and share insights with the teaching team
Foster a classroom culture of patience love and curiosity
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred
Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
Reliable patient and flexible with a strong team-oriented attitude
Must meet all state licensing requirements including background checks fingerprinting and health screenings
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
CDA or ECE coursework a plus but not required
