Position Summary:
We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented individuals for a temporary position assisting with the electronic chart build in preparation for our upcoming Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system go-live. This role is essential in transitioning office-based patient charts into the electronic system and ensuring accuracy completeness and readiness for clinical use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and assemble electronic patient charts using standardized templates and procedures.
- Enter data quickly and accurately from scanned or physical records into the EMR system.
- Ensure charts are properly organized and labeled for clinical usability.
- Meet established daily quotas for chart builds with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Identify and escalate missing or incomplete information as needed.
- Collaborate with project team members and follow detailed instructions for chart configuration.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient health information in compliance with HIPAA.
- Participate in virtual team check-ins and report progress to assigned supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong typing and computer data entry skills (minimum 50 WPM preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet productivity targets in a repetitive and deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with EMRs or healthcare data entry preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable internet connection for remote work if applicable.
