Job Description

Strata US is recruiting for a Business Administrator which plays a critical role in supporting multiple finance accounting and operational responsibilities for Strata US. Reporting to the General Manager this role will oversee several day-to-day responsibilities related to planning and purchasing inventory management cost accounting AR/AP and other operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Strata US manufacturing planning database in close coordination with the General Manager and associates from parent company Strata India.
  • Execute manufacturing POs in ERP and customer service IT systems
  • Manages frequent updates to container tracker database packing slip profiles specialty invoicing requests change orders and manual credits/debits in coordination with Customer Service team
  • Oversee end-to-end shipment of goods from India in tight coordination with the General Manager Market Managers Strata India partners and affiliated warehouse and logistics provider (Glen Raven Logistics)
  • Manager receipt of containers from India including inventory transfer to warehouse locations
  • Create PIDs and execute new item set-ups in ERP system as needed
  • Execute pricing updates in coordination with General Manager and finance as needed
  • Assist with end-of-month reporting requirements reconciliations and expense reviews
  • Assist with tracking sales tax in coordination with General Manager
  • Perform ad-hoc requests as needed in support of General Manager and Market Managers

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Business Textiles Construction Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced deadline-driven corporate environment
  • Combination of finance accounting and/or operations experience required
  • International business experience strongly preferred
  • Highly organized and structured
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including presenting to small and large audiences
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to convey complex observations and concepts to customers
  • Proficient in MS Office software especially Outlook Excel Powerpoint Word
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally with overseas partners
  • Positive attitude intellectual curiosity and drive to succeed
