Qualifications:
Minimum two years of college; ECE experience preferred
Completion of Protecting Gods Children seminar
Practicing Catholic committed to Catholic teachings
Personal Qualities:
Strong understanding of child development across all domains
Warm respectful and enthusiastic about working with children
Professional in appearance communication and conduct
Reliable punctual and collaborative with peers
Classroom Responsibilities:
Assist Lead Teacher with classroom prep and daily activities
Support implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum
Ensure childrens safety and promote positive guidance techniques
Engage children with warmth open communication and individualized attention
Encourage creativity independence and exploration in learning
Support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution
Maintain a balanced learning environment (indoor/outdoor group/individual)
Professional Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality and represent school values professionally
Communicate effectively with parents and welcome classroom visitors appropriately
Stay current with professional reading and development
Team Collaboration:
Support Director and work harmoniously with staff
Open to feedback and adaptable in co-teaching roles
Share resources maintain shared spaces and support classroom upkeep
Attend meetings and school events as required
Additional Duties:
Follow protocol for securing substitutes
Must have current negative TB test on file
