POSITION:
FMLA and Workers Compensation Specialist
LOCATION:
Human Resources Department
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of an HR Supervisor this role administers and maintains Workers Compensation FMLA ADA and other medical-related leave claims by initiating cases tracking and documenting medical and employment details analyzing eligibility and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position also assists with overall employee leave management by coordinating with employees and the Finance/Payroll department to ensure accurate processing and consistent recordkeeping across all types of medical leave.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve (12) month 8 hours/day position and salary commensurate with the salary schedule for educational support employees (Scale 29: $38.80/hr - $50.40/hr).

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the policy on evaluation as established by the Calvert County Public Schools.
