Parts Counter - Black Hills Truck

North American Truck & Trailer Inc. is seeking a Parts Counter person for our Black Hills Truck location. The Parts Counter position is crucial to the success of the dealership as it involves providing top-notch customer service and support to our clients and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in finding the right parts for their truck or trailer
  • Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Provide accurate price quotes and process sales transactions
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails regarding parts inquiries
  • Source parts from suppliers when necessary
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Keep track of special orders and communicate delivery times to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a parts counter or related role preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of truck and trailer parts is a plus
