We are seeking individuals who have worked in an office environment to fill the position of Accounts Receivable Leadwith an emphasis on reviewing commercial credit history for our Fredericksburg location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Supervise assigned AR Team ensuring the standards of the Collections Team are reviewed and maintained as well as answering questions from personnel and offering support as needed.
- Perform credit evaluations for credit up to $100k.
- Perform collection efforts on assigned accounts.
- Coordinate bank approvals AP payment file transfers and fraud recording.
- Create and enter journal entries as needed.
- Handle necessary year-end reporting for external auditors.
- Reviewing paperwork submitted for setting up new customers in our computer system SAP.
- Collaborating with various departments and branches to verify the accuracy of all required information.
- Ensuring legallyaccurate and timely data entry for each new customer account.
- Completing vendor forms as requested by potential customers.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidates background will include:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred Associate Degree in Accounting required (Significant applicable experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
- Good communication skills/phone skills required.
- Computer skills including proficiency in G-Suite.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Regular physical attendance at the worksite.
