Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to play a key role in the management optimization and modernization of a multi-server network. This position requires expertise in network engineering system administration and Linux command-line operations to support a secure and resilient infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to enhance network performance implement best practices for system compliance and contribute to long-term design strategies. Additionally this role involves account management troubleshooting and ensuring adherence to Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and support a multi-server network with network engineering system administration and Linux command-line expertise.
- Ensure network operational health and perform comprehensive troubleshooting.
- Lead technical initiatives across organizations.
- Support network design and infrastructure modernization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with STE/STN and RMF requirements.
- Manage user accounts and access controls.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree 8 years of relevant experience OR
- Masters degree 6 years OR
- Associates degree 10 years OR
- High school diploma/GED 12 years.
- Degree in: Network Engineering Systems Engineering IT or related field.
- Experience in network/system administration and one or more of the following:
- Computer or information systems design/development
- Programming
- Cybersecurity vulnerability analysis or penetration testing
- Computer forensics information assurance or systems engineering
- Experience managing virtualized infrastructure across multi-node and multi-site networks.
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows (command-line required).
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Preferred:
- Experience with Computer Network Operations (CNO).
- Development experience is helpful but not required.
Clearance:TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Anticipated Annual Salary Range:$155000 $177000
