Summary of Role:

The IT Vendor Manager oversees and optimizes ITs relationships with infrastructure professional services and software vendors. This role reports directly to the Director of IT Enablement and is critical in ensuring that vendor partnerships align with ITs strategy and operational priorities.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute vendor management strategies aligned with ITs best practices and organizations goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships across IT which include applications telecom network professional services and infrastructure providers.
  • Manage performance to IT contracts prioritizing by risk and spend with a focus on optimization and performance.
  • Partner with GlobalFoundries Procurement organization to build performance metrics into all IT contracts and provide input into all IT contract renewals.
  • Provide all governance including regular executive reviews with GlobalFoundries and Supplier leadership and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of an India-based team member who is responsible for tactical tasks such as updating the risk and criticality database.
  • Lead vendor risk assessments as needed. Assigning criticality and tracking needed actions with various IT teams
  • Develop and maintain vendor scorecards and report on KPIs cost savings and value delivery.
Other Responsibilities
  • Stay current with IT capabilities like AWS or Azure semiconductor technology trends and vendor innovations.
  • Partner on RFx events as a key stakeholder partnering with Procurement to ensure vendor performance is represented.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure vendor solutions meet regulatory requirements (e.g. ITAR ISO 26262).
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Supply Chain Business or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in IT vendor management in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor performance.
  • Knowledge of professional services agreements
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills and proven ability to work with Executives and geo-dispersed stakeholders.
  • Experience with vendor management platforms and procurement systems including Service Now Ariba and iCertis.
  • Experience managing the day-to-day tasks of a team member.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or MBA.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Certifications such as ITIL SIG Certified Third Party Risk Assessor (CTPRA) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
  • Experience with global vendor ecosystems and offshore service providers.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry compliance standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001 ITAR RoHS).
  • International and Domestic travel experience. This role will require some travel.

Expected Salary Range

$106100.00 - $200000.00
