Full Job Description:Director of Transportation
Grade: Business Grade 11 BG-11

Position Summary: Responsible for the organization administration supervision of the schoolDistrict transportation system consisting of an annual budget of $4.5Mand over 240 employeesin addition to over 400 buses and fleet vehicles while being in accordance with local state andfederal laws and policies as well as District policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Transportation Logistics Business Management other relevantfield or equivalent work experience in lieu of education
Experience:
Eight (8) years experience in Transportation and/or logistics
Five (5) years leadership experience
School experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge Licenses etc.:
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current CDL
Extensive knowledge and understanding of laws regulations and policies regarding allaspects of school transportation
Knowledge of funds management and budgetary skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Proficient in Spanish preferred
