About the Role:
The role is organizationally positioned in Homeroom TMS at ETC DMS Landskrona and has the main task of developing new actuator products within BorgWarner and responsability for the mechanical development of sub-components for high voltage electric motors.
Participate in Mechanical development related activities
Create and develop new Mechancial System and Subsystem
Creation and maintainance of Actuator Subsystem and Component level D-FMEA
Initiate and create Engineering Change Orders for new development actuators
Participation and Mechanical Engineer approval of supplier and specification related activities
Lead or support in actuator problem solving tasks and/or quality issues
Lead or support in Continuous improvement activities
Lead or support in Prototype and Validation related activities
Interface for Actuator related topics toward internal and external stakeholders
Masters engineering degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum 8 years relevant engineering experience
Experience of mechatronics product development from start to SOP preferably including e-motor design
Experience from working with sub-suppliers of ingoing components
Experience from development of the assembly process as support to the Manufacuring Engineering team
DFMEA experience
Experience of 3D CAD
Fluent in English and Swedish (spoken and written)
Basic knowledge within automotive electronics is beneficial
Experience of MotorCAD/Ansys is benefiecial
Experience from Siemens requirement system Polarion is beneficial
Experience from high voltage applications is beneficial
The role is a hybrid role with the ability to work from home two days a week with three days a week in the office.
