Are you someone that is highly motivated with experience in subrogated recoveries If so this may be the role for you.
You will be joining a team who support and manage a range of internal caseload drive indemnity performance and respond to internal and external demand. You will also support managing the performance of outsourced partners DAC Beachcroft Solicitors (DACB) as well as actively supporting the Property Recoveries Strategy and cost driver commitments.
Property recoveries are a fundamental component of the claims journey for both Aviva our customers and Brokers. Ensuring high awareness and detection in Perth as well as first class timely and commercially focussed results thereafter are key to delivering market leading results and great customer service.
A bit about the job:
Identify ways to improve subrogated recovery performance through data analysis and implementation of initiatives to deliver key recovery metrics
Supporting Recovery Lead/Supervisors with the strategy to deliver overall performance on Subrogated recoveries
Update MI to ensure data is accurate and up to date and ensure high awareness and detection in Perth
Providing insight from BAU activity to help simplify processes and procedures alongside supporting the Property Recoveries strategy for Claims
Maintain appropriate measures reporting governance and assurance processes
Operate within an environment of good control and governance. Identify risk within area of responsibility whilst having a grasp of the regulatory and business risk implications of opportunities and decisions
Plan coordinate and deliver training for Property claims teams (including ACS) and Brokers/suppliers/other stakeholders
Assist team leads in 121 coaching where there is a gap in recovery capability
Monthly meetings with frontline leaders in coordination with QA outcomes and recovery performance within teams and department level
Attend regular huddles and create huddle content with aligned frontline teams
Continually drive improvements in end-to-end recovery processes by liaising with other departments and ensuring model is fit for purpose
The escalation contact for complex supplier and customer queries.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Comprehensive Knowledge of UKGI Claims and Subrogation: Strong understanding of the UK General Insurance claims environment with in-depth expertise in subrogation and related legal processes.
Proven Experience in Recovery Handling: Demonstrated ability to manage subrogated recoveries from initiation through to successful settlement.
Effective Planning and Problem Solving: Highly organized proactive and independent with a positive solution-oriented approach to resolving challenges.
Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Skilled in communication negotiation influencing and presenting with the ability to coach others effectively.
Stakeholder and Change Management: Experienced in managing relationships with leaders and operational teams while embracing and leading through change.

Starting salary between circa 30000 and 32000 (depending on location skills experience and qualifications)
