Location: Yuma AZ 85365 Area
Pay Range: $42$44/hour
Schedule: Night Shift 12-hour shifts 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
2-week rotation: 38 hours one week 48 hours the next
Every other weekend required
Openings: 2 Positions Available
Position Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Yuma VA facility youll provide skilled compassionate care to geriatric residents. Under RN or physician supervision youll administer medications monitor patient conditions assist with ADLs and guide CNAs and fellow LPNs. This role includes leadership responsibilities when acting as charge nurse.
Key Duties:
Deliver medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document resident conditions
Supervise and assist staff with daily care
Support care planning assessments and documentation
Participate in staff training quality improvement (QAPI) and AMS practices
Requirements:
Valid LPN license (Arizona)
Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing and team-based care
Effective communication and leadership skills
