Job Description

CMT Technical Services is a Utah based materials engineering company looking to add an Experienced Field technician to work in our Houston office. Candidates must have a solid understanding and depth of knowledge of field testing and reporting processes. Must be able to competently test per ASTM and AASHTO standards per state requirements for field testing of concrete soil aggregate and asphalt in compliance with ACI HMAC and or NICET certifications.

Preferred Certifications one or more of the following:

  • American Concrete Institution (ACI) certifications: Field 1
  • HMAC Level 1A 1B AGG 101
  • HMAC SB101 SB102 SB103
  • NICET
  • 2 years of related work experience
  • Proficient in materials testing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to obtain certifications.
  • Familiar and comfortable working in Microsoft Office
  • Clean MVR
