Lead our transportation team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Loughborough ensuring seamless delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities involved in the transportation of goods and services using our commercial fleet.
- Ensure high levels of operational standards efficiency productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide outstanding customer service ensuring that our customers needs are met with the highest quality.
- Act as a crucial point of contact and report directly to the Transportation Manager.
- Successfully implement strategies to improve transportation processes and outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a transportation or shipping role.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to strictly adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A track record of determining and implementing effective transportation strategies.
