Position Summary:
The Solutions Engineer will provide onsite installation support for various customers within the DoD and US Government. The role will involve cabling network and server systems; installation and configuration of Virtual Routers (Cisco CSR and Juniper SSR); and racking and installation of systems. The Solutions Engineer will also provide oversite of multi-vendor installations at various remote locations to include supporting Microsoft Azure Stack installations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must!

What youll do:
- Conduct site surveys of customer environments documenting findings and recommending cabling solutions
- Installation of virtual routers (Cisco CSR & Juniper SSR) at customer locations.
- Cable systems at customer locations (in rack and between racks)
- Document final installed configuration
- Provide oversite to other onsite vendors
- Work within a combined vendor team to resolve issues and keep delivery on schedule.
- Travel to various locations (CONUS and OCONUS) to install systems for DoD customers
- Prior Navy experience preferred (but not required)
What youll bring:
- Minimum 57 years of experience in a technical role delivering systems and networks.
- Data center management background preferred.
- 4-year technical degree (BS) or higher preferred.
- Proficient with multi-vendor data center offerings including Dell HPE Nutanix Cisco Aruba VMware and others.
- Proficiency in deploying routers or switches when provided with a configuration including troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of relevant data center operating systems and virtualization solutions.
- Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
- Must have (or be able to obtain quickly) necessary manufacturer certifications to support job performance.
- Must have at minimum a current SECRET-level security clearance issued by the U.S. Government; TOP SECRET preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD-issued ID card.
- Ability to travel to customer locations with a flexible schedule to support business needs (up to 75% travel); may require weekend travel for certain sites (e.g. international locations).
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
