SALARY: up to $21.15 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Operate all park department related light equipment. Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites. Operates heavy equipment when qualified as needed when heavy equipment operators are unavailable. Performs Park department duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE & RATE:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Must have Commercial Drivers License (Class A CDL) Endorsement
EQUIPMENT:
Pickup trucks miscellaneous hand and power tools tractors flatbed trucks dump trucks 4 X 4 snow equipment riding mowers backhoe bobcat loader dozer flail mower.

While performing this jobs duties the employee is often required to sit walk talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk use hands to fingers handle or feel objects tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee constantly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works in high precarious places and in frequently exposed to wet and/or humid condition fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet except when operating power equipment.
