Job Description
River Hospital is seeking a RegisteredNurse with strong Clinical and Leadership Skills to join our Inpatient UnitTeam as the Nurse Manager of Inpatient Services
This position will come with a competitive salary sign-on bonus relocation cost reimbursement full benefit package. Our Clinic Nurse Manager will report to our Chief Nursing Officer.
Job Purpose
A clinically competent registered licensed nurse who provides immediate specialized patient care with a multidisciplinary Provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the nursing care delivered and the organizational day to day structure of their Unit.
Qualifications
- Valid and current registration NYS RN license
- BLS ACLS and PALScertification
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience in an Inpatientsetting preferred
- Previous nurse leadership/management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft platforms: Word Excel Power Point.

It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue. The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.
Working conditions and Physical requirements
- Monday to Friday in coordination with the operations of the clinics.
- OSHA Category A potential for exposure to blood and other infectious body substances.
- Bending lifting standing walking must possess the physical ability to perform CPR.
