Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
What Youll Be Doing
- Operate batching equipment to produce ready mix concrete to specification
- Monitor material inventory and coordinate deliveries as needed
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the batching process
- Communicate effectively with drivers dispatch and plant personnel
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plant equipment
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to operate batching systems and related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level
