Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician & Technical Trainer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of routine support activities within the field service function. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing technical and mechanical equipment failures in the field. Utilizing standard procedures you will assess and address issues independently ensuring problem equipment is fixed efficiently. You will also report design reliability and maintenance problems through our field service management software.

After completing a training period you will be responsible for training local technicians using the Train the Trainer approach. As a Field Service Technician you will handle fault finding repairs servicing and maintenance tasks for customers in Northern Greece. You will report directly to the countrys Service Manager.

In addition to technical responsibilities you will assist with customer training sessions and help generate sales leads during customer service visits. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures rules and regulations is also a key aspect of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment including high-pressure washing machines either in the branch shop or at customer sites.
  • Promote maintenance contracts to customers.
  • Complete all required service work reports time sheets and other documentation as directed by the Branch Supervisor.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for end customers in accordance with the promotion plan and in collaboration with other company departments.

Education:

  • High school degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5 years of relevant experience and training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a similar or related field.

Knowledge and Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge preferably obtained through hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in mechanical electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting. Must be able to read understand and follow electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Ability to use a variety of basic electrical testing and diagnostic equipment with a thorough understanding of AC and DC electrical theory.
  • Valid Drivers License.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and business applications. Knowledge of ServiceMax is a plus.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read write and speak English and interpret documents such as safety regulations operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization.
