Your mission
Your mission is to ensure that our services arereliable intuitive and high-performing accessible via a seamlessAPI and amodern well-designed web front-end.
Your code will help prevent satellite collisions ensuring the sustainability of space operations for years to come. Youll develop software that protects assets worthbillions and contributes directly to the future of space safety.
Our platform is used bycommercial satellite operators managing large constellations andnational & international space agencies.
Please note: This position is limited until end of 2026 with the possibility of extension.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Help develop and maintain web applications that support OKAPI:Orbits space safety platform.
- Contribute to software projects for space agencies and commercial satellite operators.
- Collaborate with senior developers and learn about software architecture and technical decision-making.
- Assist scientists and engineers in building innovative tools for space operations.
- Angular
- PostgreSQL
- External REST APIs
Your profile
- A degree (. or higher) in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent training as an IT specialist.
- Experience with Angulardevelopment.
- Knowledge offront-end testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Based in Germany with a valid work permit.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of React
- Familiarity with or other geospatial tools.
- Experience in the aerospace sector.
