Reporting to the Manager of Immigration Services the Immigration Consultant is responsible for processing immigration support files and providing immigration services to eligible international candidates recruited for hard-to-fill positions (i.e. Physicians) within Nova Scotia Health. The Immigration Consultant provides support for immigration purposes to international trained physicians who wish to remain working with Nova Scotia Health. This position involves supporting the organization and staff with immigration-related processes education on immigration-related matters and ensuring employer compliance. The Immigration Consultant will also participate in developing policies and procedures to support international recruitment and immigration services as well as building relationships throughout the organization to ensure the successful onboarding and retention of newly hired international trained physicians.

$38.36 - $47.95 Hourly
